How many rats will your cage hold?

To help you decide what size of cage you need for your rats, follow the instructions below.

Multiply the cage dimensions (length by width by height) to get the volume of the cage in cubic inches.
Divide the result by 3456.

The result is the number of rats your cage can comfortably hold.
